Missouri Baptist University Baseball Fields

Problem: Missouri Baptist University baseball fields. During a rain event, water was running from the outfield and eroding the skin of the infield, making it unsafe and virtually unplayable until the field was dragged and smoothed out.

Solution: Install Hydraway 2000 around the perimeter of the infield from the first base line to the third base line. The project was completed in approx 8 hours utilizing the University’s own crew and a 4” trencher. The drainage system was “day lighted” on hill slope just off the playing field.

Resolution: Six months after the installation, the infield was no longer rutting out even in the heaviest of rain events.
