Laurel Canyon Golf Course

Problem: Laurel Canyon Golf Course is a new course designed by landscape architect Rocky Roquemore and constructed by Mike Westmoreland Contractors. The native soils under the greens were not conducive to good drainage using the pipe and rock method.

Solution: Rocky chose Hydraway 2000 Drainage System as his primary drainage system because of the high flow and non-clogging charecteristics of Hydraway 2000. It was installed horizontally under all the greens, tees and bunkers. Approximately 40,000 linear feet of the Hydraway Drainage System was installed against the laterals of the slopes.

Resolution: The system went in smoothly with little or no trenching, and drainage is excellent.
